Uchu Nekoko
has announced the release of her second album, "If I Could Live Like You," which marks a return to alternative rock!
Since her 2014 single with Lovely Summer-chan, Uchu Nekoko has continued to garner attention for her wide range of collaborations, including collaborations with Irie Yo, tsvaci, and Enjoy Music Club, as well as a split with Izumi Makura, and her melancholic, floating music. Uchu Nekoko will release her second album, "If I Could Live Like You," on Wednesday, April 24th. This highly anticipated album marks her first release in roughly two and a half years since her 2016 debut album, "Hibi no Awa," and her first since Kano joined the band as vocalist in 2017.
The album features a return to alternative rock, engineered by Kosuke Nakamura, known for his work with Yuta Orisaka and Taiko Super Kicks. The result is a dynamic and refreshing sound. The jacket illustration was created by Oshima Tomoko, an illustrator and filmmaker who has consistently worked on illustrations for Space Nekoko and is also known as the author of the manga "Setchan,"
